Record Census

Why Collect Census Data?

Census data provides information to guide our fishery management and helps us understand the dynamics of fishing pressure. This information is helpful in obvious areas such as stocking and pond management, but also in less obvious areas such as site management like new access points at Pine, Burch, and Spruce and identify changes in usage trends based on membership levels.

What You Should Do!

  • Sign the Log Book for each visit.
  • Provide census information for each visit.
    • Go to the website and use the electronic forms to fill in your census data. Its fast and saves paper.
    • Alternatively, use the paper census sheets available at the sign-in desk. Processing paper census takes a lot of extra time to process.
